Awkward me

So today was the official last day of school for the yr 12s and so we had an assembly in the sports centre this morning.... Anyways so on the way there, I was walking behind a girl, chatting to my friends as you do. I thought the girl in front was on of my yr 11 friends and her hair looked a little lighter and abnormally straightened. I being me, put my hand out and stroked her hair and said "Sophie, I love your hair today." I can be weird with Sophie and it's normally ok, but the girl turned around and I froze, it wasn't Sophie... Luckily there was the whole school of peoples to hide in, but oh god the look on her face!

She was so weirded out, and she's in the year above me so she'll still be at school next year, I hope I never have to face her again.... SO AWKWARD!!! My friends had a field day though, and I'm laughing about it now... This seems to be happening to me more often...

My basketball team after winning finals, all nice and sweaty :)

Tuesday, 30 October 2012

I turn 16 at midnight tonight, that's in about 35 mins... I have had an amazing day today,  I got a horrible result in maths and one of my friends only cares about her boys problems... But literally EVERYTHING else has been perfect!!! I went to school, did art for most of the day, got some lovely cards and thoughtful pressies, and I came home did my english essay (partly) then had dinner, which were home made hamburgers on my request. After my mum had made a delicious carrot cake :) My auntie called and told me to go outside and look at the full moon, so I did, but I couldn't really see it. I ended up running up our hill (really steep hill) in my socks to try and see it, but it was really cool, because it was dark and eerie...  Then my family and I watched a french movie called the "intouchables" based on a true story with english subtitles, that was beautiful...

I was just about to go to bed, when my mum called me down to show me the full moon for my birthday <3 so I ended up standing there for a good few mins before I thought about getting the telescope, which  was the best thing ever. The Moon is actually extremely beautiful, I wanted to watch it till midnight, and I WOULD HAVE, but it went behind some trees... Still best day ever!

Then I decided to write about, hopefully this will be interesting to read a few years from now on my birthday when I'm a little older, ok 30 mins to go, I'm staying up for it, to make a wish (silly corny me :)
but I don't care...

16 guys!!!!!

Basketball finals!!!

I haven't been on here for a while, so I thought I'd come on and write about my life, i congratulate you if you find this interesting at all.

My my life scrambled into words late at night/early morning =

Ok, so last year, I was in the B-team and it was my first year of basketball, ever, anyway, we got to semi-finals and lost, but this year I got into the A-team, and well we just had the semi-finals tonight, AND WE WON!!! SO WE'RE GOING TO THE GRAND FINALS THIS FRIDAY COMING!!!! I'm so psyched!!! Basketball ball is what I look forward to all week, and it's been a major uplifting experience for me, I don't care what happens on friday, a win would be awesome, but I have enjoyed this season so much that it wouldn't really matter...

This clashes with ours schools art night though, and well, along with basketball art is one of my favourite things about school. At the moment we are doing a self portrait, and I've noticed how annoying it is when you have to analyse your face and draw it, I'm already getting sick of looking at myself... My teacher, said I should challenge myself, and do something big, so without thinking about it too much I went on to start my major, but now I'm realising how uncomfortable it is too have your face blown up so big for everyone to see. I feel sorry for people on those huge advertisements.

Anyway, I had a long day today, my sister had choir early this morning, so we had to wake up really early, then I had a french test, and started my art, then I went to a friends house before the game, and came back to school at 6pm for my game, which ended at 7, so I have been at school from 7am to 7pm today, oh the joy...

night night  :P

Pottermore

Pottermore:

My wand on Pottermore:

Rowan
Rowan wood has always been much-favoured for wands, because it is reputed to be more protective than any other, and in my experience renders all manner of defensive charms especially strong and difficult to break. It is commonly stated that no Dark witch or wizard ever owned a rowan wand, and I cannot recall a single instance where one of my own rowan wands has gone on to do evil in the world. Rowan is most happily placed with the clear-headed and the pure-hearted, but this reputation for virtue ought not to fool anyone - these wands are the equal of any, often the better, and frequently out-perform others in duels.
Phoenix
This is the rarest core type. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this. They show the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards dislike.
Phoenix feather wands are always the pickiest when it comes to potential owners, for the creature from which they are taken is one of the most independent and detached in the world. These wands are the hardest to tame and to personalise, and their allegiance is usually hard won.

On Pottermore I am in Gryffindor and my username is: AurorNettle11341

Including the un-cracked egg there are 125 eggs in total, and since it's Easter tomorrow I thought it was suitable, and these eggs were used in ice-cream....

Happy Easter!!!
